While hand-held mobile devices are very dangerous to use while driving, they are becoming more and more unhealthy for your neck. With people sitting for hours upon hours texting and looking down while using their hand-held mobile devices, they are putting their necks in a very vulnerable position. Your neck should have a smooth, forward curvature, with nice smooth ligaments and discs that separate the bones. Bending your neck forward is the wrong position for a healthy neck curve. Here are some ways to ease your Text Neck:
- Come in and get a chiropractic adjustment and let that neck resume its normal alignment.
- At home you can roll a towel into a 3-4″ cylinder, put it under your neck and lay down for 10-15 minutes which will relieve stress in your neck.
